Freelance Web Design and Development Agency Sydney

Website Maintenance and SEO Specialists Australia

Boutique Digital Agency for Australian Small Business

We're not your average agency
and that's exactly the point.

Paint Bucket Digital was born out of a simple frustration, watching good businesses get let down by generic agencies, outsourced work, cookie-cutter website templates that don’t convert, and support teams that didn’t actually know or care anything about the businesses they’re working with.

I’m Jenna, I bring a background in technical engineering, including time spent at Apple, to an industry that doesn’t always attract that level of chronological detail. Five years ago I went all in with Paint Bucket Digital, and haven’t looked back since!

Five years on, Paint Bucket Digital has quietly built a reputation for doing things properly. We are certainly not the loudest in the room, but we are consistently the one clients choose to stay with for the long term, refer their friends to, and trust with the thing that drives their business online.

We’re based on the outskirts of Sydney but our heart is firmly in regional Australia. Some of our best work has been with rural and agribusiness clients who deserve the same level of digital expertise as any city-based operation, and rarely get it.

If you’re in the regions and tired of being an afterthought to agencies who don’t understand your industry or how small towns operate, we’d love to chat.

What we stand for

People over Volume

We deliberately keep our client numbers small. Every business we work with gets our undivided attention, not a fraction of it.

Technical Depth

With an engineering background, we don’t guess. We diagnose. Every solution is built to actually work, not just look like it does.

Honesty First

We’ll tell you when something isn’t worth doing, when a cheaper option exists, and when we’re not the right fit.

We only work with businesses we're confident we can genuinely help.

That means we sometimes turn work away.
It also means that when we do take something on, we back it completely.

As a new business owner with absolutely no idea how to build a website she made it seamless from the very beginning.
Great response time with all my random questions and helped me along the way on how to actually use my website.
Highly recommend and would definitely use again :)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jenna was so easy to work with while she was getting my website up and running, great communication from the get go. sent me updates & continuously asking if I’d like anything changed. And did it straight away if it was needed.
Great pricing & such a good outcome. Tidied up my logo for me in the process too.

Would recommend her to anyone!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We're a small charity supporting people with a communication disability, therefore, pricing was a key factor when creating our new website. Attention to detail and working with a developer that genuinely cared about our target audiences unique needs in terms of user-experience, copy, imagery and "aphasia friendly" content and volunteer led committee was a close second. Jenna hit the mark on both accounts and truly went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Jenna at Paintbucket Digital on three separate websites, and each time she has completely nailed the brief. She brought my creative vision to life with care, precision, and a real understanding of what I wanted – even when I struggled to articulate it myself!

As someone who’s time-poor and not exactly tech-savvy, Jenna has been an absolute godsend. She made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. Her communication is clear, her patience is endless, and her work is consistently beautiful and professional.

I can't recommend her highly enough – if you're looking for someone who gets it and delivers exactly what you need (and more), Jenna is the one to go to.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so happy with the website Jenna created for me. From start to finish, Jenna was professional, creative, friendly and attentive to every detail. She responded to my emails promptly, always with kindness and caring, always effortlessly making adjustments, never making me feel I was inconveniencing her. Jenna tuned into the vague vision I had and created a beautifully designed website that truly represents who I am. Jenna’s ability to combine aesthetics with functionality is outstanding.

I’m so grateful to you Jenna, you're the best! Thank you also for the user-friendly handbook.

I love my website and wholeheartedly recommend Jenna/Wild Ruby!
